- Certificate of Conformity. Many regulated products need a KEBS Certificate of Conformity before they leave China.
- Duties and levies. EAC tariff of 0–35% by product, plus a 2.5% IDF, a 2% RDL and 16% VAT.
- Correct classification. The HS code decides the duty band, so classify carefully.
